As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our residents' clothing and linens.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial washing and drying equipment to clean and sanitize residents' clothing, linens, and other laundry items.
• Safely handle and use commercial laundry chemicals as per established guidelines.
• Sort, fold, and organize laundered items for distribution.
• Ensure all laundry areas are clean, tidy, and properly stocked.
• Identify and report any damaged or stained items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control practices and safety protocols while performing laundry duties.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar laundry or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of proper garment care and laundry techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy laundry items as required.
