Job Title: Activity Specialist
The Activity Specialist at Lindengrove Waukesha will design, implement, assess, and revise activity programs for their case load. Their primary goal is to meet the social, creative, physical, and emotional needs of our patients and residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Rehab settings. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, assess, and revise activity programs for patients and residents
- Meet the social, creative, physical, and emotional needs of individuals in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Rehab
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a degree or certification in Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or other Creative Arts
- Hold a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) degree
- Have completed a Non-Creative Arts Therapy degree and the Modular Education Program for Activity Professional (MEPAP I)
- Have completed a Non-Creative Arts Therapy degree and agree to register for MEPAP I within the introductory period and successfully complete the coursework within 9 months
