We are looking for a dedicated Hope Fund Program Operations Director like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The HCA Healthcare Hope Fund Programs, Operations Director is a key member of the Community Engagement and Hope Fund Management Team overseeing the administration of programs with an annual budget totaling more than $11 Million and serving more than 185 hospitals, physician offices and support centers. The role is critical to growth strategy and execution of programs as a national leader in employee assistance funds. This position provides leadership and guidance to Board of Directors, HR leaders and business partners and staff team. Director drives metrics and analysis to inform decisions and reports to leadership and the board. It supervises the development, oversight, and improvements to daily operations, policies, systems and procedures necessary to support program goals. Director has broader Community Engagement (CE) responsibilities to lead and execute the Disaster Philanthropy program through key internal and external relationships as well other emerging duties in CE. What you will do in this role: Programs Leadership (35%) Independent discretion in providing final approval for grant applications based on facility and corporate team recommendations Leads execution of the Frist Savers Program Sets service standard expectations and monitors delivery Performs various general administration functions related to budget, plan change, program evaluation, etc. Ongoing monitoring of program goals and monthly performance Communicates relevant program information to corporate and facility leadership and all appropriate internal users Creates model and ensures execution in collaboration with HRG leadership and HRBPs Oversees materials related to programs development and management Collaboratively ensures compelling programs story-telling with communications partners and Development team Lead and support Hope Fund Board committees Supervision (25%) Responsible for the recruitment and supervision of programs team members including annual goal-setting and performance review Assist staff in program implementation to include instruction on internal procedures, compliance, financials, documentation and administration Oversee the creation, design and procedures for local program committees Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements to ensure consistent, high-quality service Community Engagement Disaster Philanthropy (15%) Develops and maintains relationships with key external philanthropy partners such as American Red Cross, Project C.U.R.E Works collaboratively and maintains relationship with key HCA internal departments in disaster and disaster philanthropy such as EEOC, HealthTrust, Government Relations, Galen, etc. Makes community disaster investment recommendations in coordination with local executive leadership, community engagement and government relations input and as informed by other Develops and maintains connections with other corporate disaster philanthropy approaches and thought-leadership organizations such as Center for Disaster Philanthropy, National Chamber of Commerce, National Council on Foundations, etc. Leads annual Community Engagement disaster planning with EEOC and Audit processes and programs Hope Fund Operations (15%) Leads planning and execution of Hope Fund disaster response, including expanded staffing model and program delivery Works with President to develop and execute quarterly and annual Board meeting content and presentations Other Administration (10%) Ensures appropriate systems in place to execute program in coordination with Treasury, Accounting and Audit departments and third-party vendors What qualifications you will need: • Bachelor’s degree is required • Master’s degree preferred • 7-9 years programs management experience including personnel supervision.
