The successful candidate will install, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Service Technician will work independently, follow written and oral instructions, demonstrate attention to detail, and exhibit problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Install, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems.</li><li>Read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of basic electricity, electrical, and control systems.</li><li>Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.</li><li>Work on multiple job sites as assigned, including working on varying schedules that may require extended hours.</li><li>Maintain excellent customer relationships and deliver consistent long-term profitable growth.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential trades industry, or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.</li><li>Knowledge of basic electricity, electrical, and control systems.</li><li>Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics.</li><li>Ability to multitask, work with minimal supervision, and follow written and oral instructions.</li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.</li><li>Must pass additional background checks as required (i.e., DMV, criminal history).</li><li>Physical ability to work in various environments and conditions, including confined spaces and high heights.</li><li>Ability to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wire and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and adjust focus.</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands:<ul><li>May work in varying temperatures, both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness.</li><li>May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels.</li><li>May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including dust.</li><li>May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights.</li><li>This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work aloft, climb, bend, pull, and reach overhead, and stand/walk for long periods of time.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Medical Insurance Plans</li><li>Vision Insurance Plan</li><li>401(K) Retirement Plan with Generous Company Matching</li><li>Paid Time Off</li></ul>How to Apply:Leonard's Plaine HVAC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments under the guidance of experienced technicians.
