We are a family-owned company that has been serving Quincy, Hamilton & Pittsfield, IL and Hannibal, Troy, St. Louis, Columbia, and Kirksville, MO since 1955. We specialize in HVAC, geothermal, sheet metal fabrication, metal roofing, seamless gutters, fireplaces, commercial refrigeration, air duct cleaning, service agreements, and preventative maintenance. We are currently hiring for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Pittsfield, Illinois.
As an HVAC Service Technician at Peters Heating and Air Conditioning, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems for both residential and commercial clients. You will also perform routine maintenance on the systems to help prevent future malfunctions and breakdowns. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their HVAC systems are running smoothly and efficiently, while providing professional and courteous service.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems repair and maintenance. You will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and have the ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to explain complex HVAC concepts to customers.
