Communicate to the appropriate division when additional equipment is required. Log all problems related to the hospital's computer system, networks, systems, applications, and shrink wrapped applications; troubleshoots according to established procedures, and closes the tickets when appropriate. Update user and asset information as appropriate. Repair and maintain workstations throughout the institution. Troubleshoot PC problems and perform PC hardware upgrades, as necessary. Test equipment as appropriate. As appropriate, contact third party vendors to schedule repair and replacement of our end user hardware systems and printers. Serve as the first contact between ISD and the end user community pertaining to computer problems, training issues, or work orders related to network connectivity or computer projects. Provide analysis and resolution of computer problems and issues. Guide end users through diagnostic procedures in order to resolve as many problems as possible. Work with technical teams and coordinate the resolution of problems. Escalate problems to supervisor, when necessary. To qualify, you must have: Associate’s Degree. 1 year of relevant experience • Analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles. Work also requires the ability and desire to master new applications and technology on a continual basis. Weekly rotation 24/7/365 on call with other team members to support the perioperative areas.
