Overview: Under the direct supervision of the Parks Director, the maintenance worker performs daily maintenance and landscaping tasks at the City of Bountiful parks and open spaces.

Tasks:

Responsibilities include daily maintenance of the City parks and facilities.
Mows, uses a string trimmer and other light power equipment, plants flowers, removes weeds, etc.
Assist with irrigation, parks maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:

This is an entry level position, requiring no minimum amount of education. Applicants should be at least 16 years old and willing to work independently or in a small group. These positions require occasional weekend work.

Qualifications:

Must have a Utah Driver’s License.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, and obtain a satisfactory background and driving record check.
