Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Van Natta Mechanical Corp in Mahwah, New Jersey
As a rapidly growing HVAC Service provider, Van Natta Mechanical Corp is seeking a highly motivated and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to provide timely, thorough, and high-quality services to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems
- Diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems
- Installing HVAC systems, including duct work and electrical systems
- Testing HVAC system performance and making adjustments as necessary
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing questions and concerns
- Collaborating with team members to provide efficient and quality services
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked vehicle and inventory
- Completing paperwork and reports accurately and on time
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC experience
- Relevant certifications or licenses, such as EPA 608 universal certification and CFC handling certificate
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Availability for on-call duties and overtime works may be required
