STNA - New Albany Care Center
New Albany Care Center is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our dedicated team. As an STNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
As an STNA at New Albany Care Center, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing emotional and psychological support to residents and their families.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health and behavior to the nursing staff.
- Assisting with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nurses.
- Cleaning and maintaining residents' living areas and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working as an STNA or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
