Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Rescue Heat & Air, a trusted and reputable HVAC company in Claremore, Oklahoma, is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background and knowledge in HVAC systems and units, be self-motivated, reliable, and have a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair of HVAC systems, and units (including refrigeration, thermostats, ventilation, etc.)
- Establish a good working relationship with clients, clearly communicate the work required, and provide relevant advice and guidance.
- Accurately document all work performed, and ensure all necessary follow-ups are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate service vehicles (“we”) and tools and equipment (“you”) in a safe and effective manner.
- Test HVAC systems and units to ensure they are operating optimally, and troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent. A post-secondary degree, trade school certification, or apprenticeship is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance expertise, and diagnosing/troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items, climb ladders and crawlspaces, and work in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is a must.
