Overview
Develop and manage the department’s field placement programs. Cultivate relationships with local area educational organizations to identify and assess potential field placements for NYU undergraduate and graduate students, and will monitor the progress of student teachers; communicate with supervising faculty; advise on options and alternatives; and form collaborative relationships with tutoring programs. Manage all facets of department’s Internship Program for undergraduate and master’s students. Responsible for internship placements for the department, and oversee all facets of recruiting efforts for graduate professions programs.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
2+ years of related experience, including overseeing academic programs, cultivating relationships with local area organizations, managing and placing students in fieldwork assignments, and program planning.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to develop, implement and interpret policies and procedures and communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing to a diverse population. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Have familiarity with or a willingness to learn e-portfolios and/or cloud-based education software.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $78,705.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
