Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Spoon River Heating & Cooling is an established HVAC company with a reputation for excellent service and quality workmanship. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our valued clients. You will diagnose problems, provide solutions, and execute repairs in a timely and effective manner.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who possesses exceptional problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections of HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify problems and provide solutions
- Perform repairs and replacements on HVAC systems and components as necessary
- Perform installation of new HVAC systems and components
- Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on occasion
