Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Landings Club on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis. Responsibilities The purpose of the position is to perform simple manual tasks. Performs a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to the following: Opens, unpacks, and removes contents of cartons and places them where directed; performs general housekeeping duties such as packing up trash and paper from designated areas; pulls weeds, waters grass, and rakes leaves. May perform duties requiring use of tools and equipment such as a hand truck, rake, brush, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: No previous experience or training is required. Ability to follow simple oral instructions and use simple tools or equipment. Ability to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing 10 to 30 pounds. May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Education This position does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD). Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
