Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cold Prep Cook to join our culinary team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of cold food items, including salads, dressings, and sandwiches, to ensure high-quality and delicious meals for our residents.

Responsibilities

As a Cold Prep Cook, your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and assembling cold food items, such as salads, dressings, and sandwiches, according to recipes and established standards
• Ensuring that all food products are stored, handled, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas
• Collaborating with the culinary team to plan and execute menu items and daily specials
• Assisting in the inventory management and ordering of food supplies
• Monitoring food quality and presentation to ensure consistent excellence
• Adhering to all sanitation and safety regulations

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Cold Prep Cook or in a similar food preparation role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
