We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Palm Beach Zoo. As a vital member of our animal care department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a diverse range of species in our zoo, including mammals, reptiles, birds, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the veterinary team in performing medical examinations, diagnostic tests, and surgeries
- Administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarians
- Monitoring and documenting the health and behavior of zoo animals
- Collaborating with animal care staff to ensure the well-being and welfare of all zoo residents
- Educating our team and visitors on best practices in animal health and welfare
- Contributing to conservation efforts through participation in research and breeding programs

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in veterinary technology or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably with exotic or wildlife species
- Proficiency in anesthesia, surgical assistance, and laboratory procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to the highest standards of animal care and welfare
