Description

Paradies Lagardère, an award-winning Airport Concessionaire, is seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of Assistant General Manager at Vessel Kitchen. About Vessel Kitchen: Vessel Kitchen aims to provide a fine dining vibe at fast casual affordability and convenience. The restaurant emphasizes bright, clean, and authentic spaces with scratch preparation and flavors from around the world. The focus is on a healthy and healthy-ish menu with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients.


Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public in national or local brand restaurants
  • Promote and drive an engaged workforce, career development, and learning
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, food quality, and grooming standards
  • Monitor team performance and operational systems, making necessary adjustments
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas
  • Drive top line sales and profitability
  • Adapt and adjust readily to fast-moving, ever-changing circumstances

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience
  • ServSafe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire/promotion
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions
  • Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, and recordkeeping
  • Willingness to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office, and mathematics
