Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
As an HVAC Service Technician at FALCON Heating & Air Conditioning, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our residential and commercial clients in St. Charles & St. Louis Counties. We are looking for a highly skilled and professional Technician who is passionate about delivering quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, heat pumps, boilers, and chillers
- Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections to identify the root cause of the problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and inspecting electrical systems
- Collaborate with clients to explain the issues and provide detailed explanations of the repair options available
- Operate various tools, including hand and power tools, voltmeters, and pressure gauges, to perform repairs and installation tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used
- Participate in continuous training opportunities to stay up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certification or license in HVAC or a related field
- Demonstrated experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably with a focus on both residential and commercial systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
