Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Neil Thomas Plbg. Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Galesburg, Illinois. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and equipment
- Inspect and diagnose issues with systems and components
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning of systems
- Communicate with clients regarding their HVAC needs and provide solutions
- Document all work performed including parts used and labor hours
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and technology advancements
- Follow proper safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- EPA certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
