Funeral Director Assistant/Mortuary Transporter. A licensed funeral home in Millersville, Md, (Anne Arundel County) has a full-time opening for a FUNERAL DIRECTOR ASSISTANT/MORTUARY TRANSPORTER. Duties
- Help Maryland families in their times of need.
- Candidates may be trained in various aspects of the business for a large range of roles and duties. Initially the majority of which will be focused on the proper transportation and removal of human remains.
- You will interact with customers and families.
- You may also be trained and called upon to answer telephone calls, maintain filing system, assist the funeral directors and staff in day-to-day office work and management, customer service, and crematory and funeral home operations.
- Looking for someone mature and empathetic who can communicate well with grieving families. Duties involve some heavy lifting. Funeral home experience preferred.
- Only candidates serious about the funeral profession will be considered. This position is often considered an entry point into the funeral profession.
Work Location: One location Work Remotely No Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, On call, Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay COVID-19 considerations: PPE is made available to all staff. Our safety measures change in response to the evolving CDC guidelines.
