Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Erv Smith Services is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. As an HVAC Service Technician you will play a crucial role in the success of our company by performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heating and air conditioning systems for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioning units, boilers, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
- Performing regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting system malfunctions and providing solutions to ensure proper operation and prevent future issues
- Communicating effectively with clients to explain service needs and providing professional recommendations for repairs and upgrades
- Completing required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of an HVAC certification program or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including electrical and refrigeration systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
