At Bill Joplins Air Conditioning and Heating, we have been providing exceptional HVAC services to our clients since 1984. We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in McKinney, Texas. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' heating and cooling systems are running reliably and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters and checking system functionality
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems, including electrical and mechanical faults
- Install new HVAC systems or components, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and thermostats
- Advise clients on proper maintenance and care of their HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate records of all service work completed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and well-stocked service vehicle
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
