The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:
Market price: $1,000 USDEst.
Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 11 months
Description
Serenity Care Resources, located in Germantown, Philadelphia, is currently seeking a Caregiver/Home Health Aide. The caregiver will assist in non-medical activities of daily living (ADLs) that a client cannot safely or comfortably do alone. This includes assistance with meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, pet care, and errands as needed. In addition, the caregiver can provide companionship and assistance to meetings and appointments.
Schedule
All shifts are needed from Sunday to Saturday, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Holidays and weekends are also available.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Good communication skills
- Ensure client's privacy, respect, and dignity
- Provide companionship and stimulate social and sensory activities
- Participate in monthly in-service meetings, training, and department meetings
- Assist client in completing necessary phone calls, letter writing, etc.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the client
- Accompany client on walks, community trips, doctor's office, bank, etc.
- Remind clients to take self-administered medications
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation and laundry
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment
- Use proper infection control procedures when handling clothing and linens
- Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions
- Provide emotional support and promote a sense of well-being
- Assist in daily requirements and tasks in the care and treatment of clients
Requirements
- Good physical and mental health
- Caring attitude, tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, family members, and staff
Physical Demands
The work requires light physical exertion on a regular basis, including driving, assisting patients in transfer activities, and light housekeeping. The employee must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
