CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Title: 2nd Shift Lathe Machinist Job Description We are in need of a 2nd shift Lathe Machinist. You will machine details from plate or flat stock according to blueprints to exact dimensions and details of various shapes and materials. Our production includes hot runners for the plastic injection industry, utilizing materials such as steel, copper, and nickel. Hard Skills Reading and interpreting blueprints Reading measuring tools Sharpening cutting tools Performing own set-ups Downloading and altering programs if necessary Machining material to print Using overhead crane Operating and editing programs on Haas Mills (3 and 4 axis) and Haas Lathes (3 axis with live tooling) with Fanuc and Haas controllers using G&M codes Soft Skills Leadership skills for managing 4 to 7 employees Strong troubleshooting skills Effective communication skills Ability to conduct quality inspections Training capabilities Work Environment Clean shop built in 2019, equipped with multiple cafes and a workout room. The shift is from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, 48 hours per week with a 10% shift premium. Working 6 hours on Saturdays when needed (2:00 PM to 8:00 PM for 2nd shift).
