Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Cape Fear A/C, Heating, & Electrical Co is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Fayetteville, North Carolina. As an experienced HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on various HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation units. We are committed to providing the highest level of service and customer satisfaction, and we need a dedicated and reliable technician to help us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Conduct regular inspections of systems to ensure proper functioning
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine the best course of action for repair
• Install new HVAC systems and ductwork
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to prolong their lifespan
• Provide excellent customer service and explain technical issues in an easy-to-understand way
• Work independently or with a team to ensure timely completion of projects
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed HVAC training or certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed
• Willingness to continue training and education to stay up-to-date on industry developments
