TheTIGWelder is responsible for the daily setup and operation ofTIGwelding to complete productionweldmentjobs. Responsibilities: Plan sequence of steps to perform duties according to blueprints. Set up and adjust welding parameters. Operate various welding, soldering or brazing equipment. Use various precision measuring equipment to check work. Operate equipment to grind, file, and adjust fixtures and parts to specifications. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma,GEDor equivalent required; associates degree preferred. PreviousTIGWelding experience required;AWSTIGCertification preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, blueprints, sketches and maintenance instructions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.
