Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Billing Specialists to join our team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in accurately and efficiently handling the billing process for our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient medical records and verify insurance coverage
• Accurately enter billing and payment information into our system
• Generate invoices and statements for patients
• Follow up with insurance companies to resolve any billing issues or claim denials
• Provide assistance and answer questions about billing and insurance to patients and their families
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and billing procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficient knowledge of medical billing procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of billing software and Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in billing or medical coding is a plus
