Responsibilities

• Provide laundry services to create a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public.
• Clean linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedule.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies are secured out of reach of residents at all times.
• Dispose of trash, waste, and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Post signs indicating safety hazards during housekeeping activities to protect staff, residents, visitors, and others in the facility.
• Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids.
• Be cross-trained to perform duties in Housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Prefer one year of experience as a Housekeeper
