Job Responsibilities

As a Cook at Aperion Care Lakeshore, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents. Your main responsibilities include:

• Planning and preparing nutritious and delicious meals
• Following designated recipes and menus
• Ensuring food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner
• Assisting with meal planning and inventory control
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Cook in a healthcare setting is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
