Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) - Night Shift

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Regency At Canton in Canton, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care to our valued guests during the night shift.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who value communication and teamwork. As an LPN, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services and health education to nursing home guests
• Supervising the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members
• Administering safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests
• Assessing the health of guests and promptly notifying the physician of any changes in status
• Implementing new orders promptly
• Selecting and implementing appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize guest's conditions and prevent complications
• Contributing to the assessment (MDS/CAA's) and development of a care plan for guests

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state
• Covid-19 vaccination or acceptable exemption required
• CPR certification
