Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our compassionate team. The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents and will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations and staff management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing and coordinating nursing services within the community
• Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring they provide high-quality care and adhere to established policies and procedures
• Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate the quality of care being provided
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for residents
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff
• Oversee medication management and medication administration
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing practices and principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively lead and supervise a team
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Familiarity with computerized medical records systems
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing quality care to seniors
