As an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to our Engineering Test Services team. You will collaborate with engineering teams and customers to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions. Your knowledge and skills will contribute to the development and improvement of aerospace systems and components.
You will report directly to our Electronic Solutions Engineering Site Leader and you'll work out of our Olathe, KS location.
In this role, you will impact the aerospace industry by:
Providing technical support and expertise to customers in the aerospace sector
Collaborating with engineering teams to develop and improve aerospace test systems and components
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for legacy test equipment
Conducting analysis and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of aerospace products
Supporting introduction of new test equipment for our Anthem family of Next Generation Avionics.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and expertise to aerospace customers
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and improve aerospace systems and components
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Conduct analysis and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of aerospace products
This position requires the ability to work independently at a high level on complex engineering support tasks in alignment with business strategies/tactics.
Identifies and pursues improvement opportunities, develops revised processes, and performs updates and/or maintenance to existing ETS procedures.
Support Engineering Change Workflow process.
Work to ensure drawing and specification change information is made with approved CAD SW.
Work with supervisors and engineers to create ETS quotes for modifications, upgrades or new builds of test equipment.
Assist Engineers with other work as required.
Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in aerospace systems and components
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
WE VALUE
Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc.
Experience in providing technical support for test equipment used in an aerospace production environment
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Passion for innovation and continuous learning
