Job Description

We are currently seeking a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team at Diversicare Of Tylertown. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals.

Your Responsibilities

As a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with food preparation under the guidance of our experienced kitchen staff
• Serving meals and beverages to residents in a timely and courteous manner
• Ensuring that all dietary restrictions and preferences are considered when preparing and serving meals
• Monitoring food temperatures and maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies
• Following all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste
• Collaborating with the culinary team to create menu plans that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and their families

Your Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a food service or hospitality role preferred
