Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Culinary Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals to our residents. You will play a vital role in creating an enjoyable dining experience and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Culinary Aide at Saint Elizabeth Home East Greenwich, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals according to standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
• Ensuring all meals are served in a timely and efficient manner
• Setting up and maintaining clean and organized workstations
• Following proper food safety and handling procedures
• Assisting in the storage and rotation of food inventory
• Assisting with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and guests
• Observing and reporting any dietary restrictions or special needs of residents to the appropriate staff
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities as required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as a part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
