Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at GEN3 Electric & HVAC
We are a leading provider of residential and commercial electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services in the Philadelphia area. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and professional HVAC Service Technician to join our team and help us provide exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair various types of HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps.
• Diagnose and repair refrigerant leaks, electrical issues, and other HVAC system malfunctions.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure proper system operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide recommendations, and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate records of parts, labor, and services performed.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• EPA certification.
• Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and heating systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
