Event Services Manager 1
Pikes Peak Center, a premier entertainment venue located in Colorado Springs, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Services Manager to join our team. As the Event Services Manager 1, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our events by overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process
- Manage event logistics including scheduling, setup, and breakdown
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure all event requirements are met
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Plan and execute promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and awareness
- Coordinate staffing needs and supervise event personnel
- Maintain and update event databases and records
- Monitor and evaluate event success, seeking feedback from clients and attendees
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in event planning and management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficient in using event management software and tools
- Knowledge of venue setup and audio/visual equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
