Table Games Shift Manager Aquarius (Laughlin, NV)
Description:
General Summary
Responsible for the operations of the Table Games Department during the shift. The Shift Manager will assign stations and duties for all staff and ensure that policies and procedures are followed. The Shift Manager works independently on the casino floor and in the casino office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service standards and Gaming regulations, as they pertain to Table Games.
Knowledge of card counting techniques and cheating tells.
Anticipate guest’s needs, acknowledge and respond promptly to any and all requests.
Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Assign stations and duties for all team members.
Advise Director of any personnel or operational problems.
Count table inventories and calculate win/loss at the end of shift.
Responsible for card and dice security.
Issue playing cards and dice and review them for irregularities at the beginning of shift as well as during shift.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Hire, train, counsel and issue disciplinary action to Table Games personnel.
May be responsible for serving drinks to accommodate guest service/recovery
Requirements:
Job Specifications – Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum five years of supervisory experience in casino gaming.
Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Knowledge of all aspects of casino gaming.
Title 31 regulation knowledge and compliance.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and other computer functions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions – Physical Requirements
Regularly walk, stand or stoop.
Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
Need to distinguish between shades of color.
