Avalon Care Center - Federal Way is currently seeking a results-driven and compassionate Admissions Director to join our team. As an Admissions Director, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and admitting new residents into our care center.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the admissions process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for residents and their families.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of potential residents' needs and preferences during the pre-admission process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate care plans for residents.
• Effectively communicate with potential residents and their families, providing them with detailed information about our care center and services.
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the care center and increase admissions.
• Participate in community outreach events and establish relationships with referral sources.
• Stay current on industry trends and maintain a thorough understanding of our competitors' offerings.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and achieve admissions goals.
• Provide ongoing support to residents and their families throughout the admission process and beyond.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in admissions or a related field within the long-term care industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in handling confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic healthcare records systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
