PROPERTY APPRAISER

Performs analysis of varying types of mass appraisal data to produce property values for ad valorem tax purposes. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains accurate official property records. Apply analysis, research and writing techniques to draft clear, concise and organized correspondence, memoranda and property record documents. Follow Arizona State Statutes pertaining to property valuation. Interacts with municipal, state, local agencies, and internal business partners to educate property owners and resolve issues. Performs field inspections for property data collection including land attributes, building characteristics and construction components. Produce property valuations for ad valorem tax purposes. Present, defend and testify at Assessor, County Board of Equalization hearings and Tax Court as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
