Job Description: The Business Systems Analyst, Customer Master Data is a role within the Commercial DTE organization reporting directly to the Associate Director, Data and Analytics DTE Engagement Lead. The Business Systems Analyst serves as the principal conduit for managing and prioritizing enhancement requirements between the business and the development and operations teams in support of the Customer Master Data Initiatives and Operations. Building on the current Customer Master Data strategy, the team will design, develop and deliver customer master data initiatives to scale existing solutions for upcoming product launches and to support existing product portfolio. Will have primary responsibility to gather, analyze, prioritize, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders. The Business Systems Analyst needs to work closely with the Business Product Owner to ensure the requirements deliver the greatest business value required to achieve the Product Owners vision and to ensure the requirements are prioritized and sequenced correctly. In addition, the Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the GHEM delivery teams. Is required to have relevant experience with Agile methodology and customer master data technology and processes and healthcare customer master data sets. Experience with OneKey data is a plus. This experience will be critical in understanding both the process challenges and the technology being implemented, which will help the Business Systems Analyst facilitate successful delivery outcomes. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner and the cross-functional customer master data team. Will be responsible for the following activities: Understanding customer master data related business needs Obtaining business requirements from product owner, business users and subject matter experts Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize business requirements. Identifying the current and future-state business processes and systems Creating, analyzing, and documenting detailed functional requirements/specifications and user stories. Handover requirements to the delivery teams and clarify any open questions on the requirements and problem statements. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing activities, including but not limited to creating UAT test scenarios. Keeping business requirements and functional design specification documents up to date. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A minimum of 4 years of experience in Business and Systems Analysis Training and experience in Agile practices Strong functional knowledge and experience in Customer Master Data Management processes and systems Biopharmaceutical or biotechnology experience Demonstrated ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into functional specifications Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to clearly and succinctly express ideas Experience facilitating meetings to a successful outcome Exemplify a highly collaborative mindset and actively facilitate team communication Build strong relationships with peers and colleagues across the Technology organization, and with key business stakeholders Able to manage own workload with minimal direction. Analyze processes and systems, identifying potential for change Possess an understanding of technology solutions implemented in the past Experience practicing project feature prioritization and backlog grooming methods Basic Qualifications 5 years with deep experience with Commercial Pharma domain. Deep experience of business analytical role including gathering and understanding Business requirements, translating it into technical specs, testing.
