Job Overview

We are currently seeking a part-time Evening Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, serving meals to residents, and ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are met. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
• Set up and serve meals to residents following specific dietary guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
• Monitor food and beverage inventory, notifying the supervisor of any shortages
• Document and report any issues or concerns regarding food quality or resident satisfaction
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dietary aide or food service role preferred
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Basic knowledge of special diets and dietary restrictions
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of food, as needed

Working Hours

This is a part-time position with evening shifts. The exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
