Description
We are in search of an Office Manager to join our client's team in Oak Brook, Illinois. As part of this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including front desk duties, event planning, and supply management. This role operates within a fast-paced working environment, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Manage front desk operations, including receiving and directing visitors and handling incoming calls.
• Oversee and coordinate event preparation, including food ordering and venue setup.
• Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate customer records and respond to inquiries.
• Handle travel arrangements for parties as needed.
• Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
• Oversee the process of FedEx reconciliations.
• Assist with application processing as required.
• Leverage Concur software for efficient business operations.
• Plan and coordinate office events, contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
• Ensure all office equipment is in good working order and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role
• Proficiency in using Concur for expense management
• Experience in using CRM software for customer relationship management
• Ability to efficiently handle answering inbound calls and operating a telephone answering system
• Experience in maintaining and ordering office supplies
• Knowledge in utilizing FedEx for shipping purposes
• Proven ability in planning and organizing events
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High level of discretion for both business and personal matters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
• Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
