Performs preventative maintenance and repair of injection molding machinery & support equipment. Rigs, installs and tests injection molding machinery and support equipment. Works under direct supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Relies on instructions and pre-established schedules. Responsibilities: Troubleshoots, tests, repairs, and services electrical systems, hydraulic systems, electronic systems, material handling systems, chilled water systems, pneumatic systems, and other production support equipment. Installs machinery under the guidance of the Plant Engineer, Maintenance Conducts preventative maintenance services per written PM instructions on all production equipment. Fabricates and installs safety devices, access platforms, water systems, and electrical services. Tool and Die Changes Prevenative Maintenance Troubleshooting Nissei, Star Automation and Husky Machines Should have average experience, knowledge, and understanding of industrial machinery mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and pipefitting, solvent welding of PVC pipe and fittings, metal cutting, welding, & brazing, rigging, and safety procedures.
