Position: Dietary Aide

We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dynamic team at Pruitthealth - Decatur. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing meals according to dietary restrictions
• Set up and clean dining areas, including tables, chairs, and utensils
• Assist with serving meals and snacks to residents
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
• Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Dietary Aide or similar role is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and handling techniques
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
