Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
E. L. WALTERS Air Conditioning & Heating is currently seeking a talented HVAC Service Technician for our Evansville, Indiana location. As a leader in commercial and residential HVAC engineering, installation, and maintenance, we seek a knowledgeable, service-focused professional to join our team.
In this essential role, we need you to bring your creativity, technical skills, and passion for delivering superior customer service. You will be responsible for performing installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on various HVAC equipment, as well as adhering to safety protocols and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repair of commercial and residential HVAC systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC components
• Accurately document work progress and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction, professionalism, and safety
• Develop and maintain strong, positive customer relationships, while working with fellow team members
Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC components
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to accurately document work progress and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Up-to-date knowledge of HVAC industry best practices and safety standards
• EPA certification required, NATE certification preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently and within a team
