Job Description: HVAC Installer
State Line Oil Co is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team in Granby, Connecticut. We are a reputable local company dedicated to providing heating and cooling solutions for residential and commercial customers.
As our HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work closely with our team of experienced technicians and support staff to ensure our customers receive high-quality service. You will also need to have your own set of tools typical for the trade.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems according to specifications and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain good communication with customers
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete projects on time and on budget
- Travel to job sites within the Granby Connecticut area
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies related to the trade
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe and professional manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in HVAC installation or related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and tools up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have your own set of typical trade tools
- EPA certification preferred
