Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Rocklin Heating & Air. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our clients' heating and cooling systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment, ensuring our clients enjoy uninterrupted and efficient heating and cooling services.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance to identify potential problems and keep HVAC systems operating efficiently
• Diagnose HVAC malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
• Communicate issues, repair options, and recommendations to customers in a clear, concise, and professional manner
• Install and maintain HVAC systems
• Test HVAC systems to ensure they are working correctly and efficiently
• Document service and installation activities in a timely and accurate manner
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical manuals
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Must be able to work independently and be responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical customers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of HVAC tools, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency repairs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
