Job Description: HVAC Installer
Panther Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Installer to join our team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
Job Responsibilities:
• Install HVAC systems according to blueprints, manuals, and specifications
• Connect HVAC systems to existing ductwork and electrical systems
• Test installed systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and defects
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality
• Communicate with customers to explain installation or repair procedures and answer questions
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of HVAC apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training
• Valid HVAC and/or refrigeration certification
• Knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
