About the Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Tech to join our team. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to our patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort throughout their stay at our facility.
Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Tech at Aperion Care Chicago Heights, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitoring and documenting patient behaviors and progress
- Providing emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
- Assisting in activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and self-care
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective delivery of care
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or mental health setting preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
