"Our telecommunications client is looking for a contract Jr. Copywriter with copy editing skills in the technology space. This role is slated to last till the end of February 2025. This person must be able to come onsite 2 days a week in the office. This person can sit in the following locations: Rolling Meadows, IL; Ashburn, VA; Basking Ridge, NJ.Responsibilities:- Develop and execute communication plans for technology change initiatives.- Work with stakeholders to identify communication needs and develop targeted messages.- Create and distribute communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, and presentations.- Manage the Technology Communications website and social media and slack channels (#the-working-tools, #help-vzgpt, etc.).- Train Power Up and Mini Power Up courses.- Track and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in communications, preferably in a technology setting.- Experience with email marketing, social media, and content development.- Strong project management and organizational skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired Skills:- Experience with being a trainer and facilitator for technology courses (e.g. Slack, Google Workspace, Gemini, VZGPT).- Knowledge of technology trends and best practices.- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
