We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team at Lynchburg Nursing Center in Lynchburg, Tennessee. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious and delicious meals to our residents in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and individualized resident meal plans
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Uphold high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Adhere to safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diets
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
